The Mind Over Matter charity event is only a few weeks a way so it’s now time for a big push to raise some money for a great cause.
What is it?
It’s a huge initiative from the IDI The Institute of Designers in Ireland to raise funds for Aware, a charity that does amazing work supporting mental health in Ireland. Almost 200 designers across Ireland have donated a day of their time to help raise funds. This year the funds go towards Aware’s Life Skills for Schools, which is a free educational programme offered to students aged 15-18, designed to help young people learn new ways to deal with the challenges in life. The programme uses an approach based on the principals of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which focuses on thinking and behaviour.
