Colleen Eccles Penor wrote and illustrated her first children’s book, The Rubber Ducky, when she was seven, and sold it for 25 cents, keeping 100% of her royalties!

Now Colleen is the author of dystopian thriller DAEIOS: 140 Ft Down. Set in a not too distant future, DAEIOS depicts a world in which extreme weather has driven much of the population underground for safety. But dreams of safety are shortlived when patriarchy and extremism spawn new dangers and fears.

The design for Colleen’s website was closely tied to the subject matter and book cover design. The website was custom-built using ExpressionEngine 5, an advanced, secure and flexible content management system.
